  1. Hey,

I'm trying to put together a custom computer, and I can't figure out the kind of RAM I need for the motherboard I have. If any of you experts out there can help me, please, PLEASE, do!

    Product Specs:
Abit ATX Motherboard 1.0GHz (Socket 754)

    Model: KV8 Pro

    Supports AMD Athlon™ 64 socket 754 processors
1.0GHz Hyper Transport frontside bus with VIA K8T800 Pro/VT8237 chipset
DDR 400 memory controller; 2 DIMM slots support up to 2.0GB

    • µGuru microprocessor combines Abit Engineered features, including EQ, FanEQ, OC Guru, FlashMenu, AudioEQ and BlackBox, into a user-friendly interface
Serial ATA interface boosts data transfer rates up to 150MB/sec.; on-board Serial ATA controller with RAID 0/1
      2 Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133 connectors
      5 PCI slots; 1 AGP 8X/4X slot
      6 high-speed USB 2.0 ports
      Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN
      On-board 6-channel AC '97 codec audio; optical S/PDIF-out interface

    Anyone know?
