Random bsod video drivers

hi i have been getting random bsod when playing games and sometimes watching videos online says video driver stopped responding sometimes bsod sometimes it recovers says to upgrade drivers which i have doesnt help it has done this with every driver i have installed.

Your video card may be over heating

my case is well ventilated and the card exhausts outside the case temps are usually low like 55c under load never above 60c

use catalyst control center or rivatuner to monitor core temps... the stock fan speed on the 4870 is set to 25% so increasing the fan to about ~50% to 60% while running games will help temps a good deal. the exhaust air should be flowing rapidly out the back of your case; if there is no more than a hot stagnant air creeping out then the GPU is very likely to be overheating.

iknow what you mean about fan setting mine is currently set at 50% dont think its a heat prob
