Random Frame Skips With New GPU

Hey,

So this year I acquired a new graphics card for my rig, a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, and I knew I'd have no more frame problems when playing games. Unfortunately, my life doesn't work like that and something had to go and mess up my free time.
Every game I play, even if it's the least graphically intense game on the internet I.e Robocraft or Minecraft, my frames will drop from 240fps to 20 every 10 seconds, making the games unplayable. It's getting pathetic and I've reinstalled and clean installed the latest and old drivers for this GPU several times.
Any help would be appreciated, rig is below:

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
CPU: Intel i5 4690k Quad Core 3.5Ghz
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3
PSU: Corsair CX500W
Mobo: MSI Z97 PC Mate

Probably not necessary, but check your power budget... http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/

Consider limiting fps (to something like 95 fps) to see if it fixes issue (perhaps the video card calculates too fast, leaving something behind which then calls for a pause to catch up).
Thanks for advice, went on the website and this is my result:
Load Wattage:274 W
Recommended PSU Wattage:324 W
So It's not the PSU not giving enough.. Of course that's just the website accuracy isn't exact.
