My system
EVGA 790i mother board
Win 7 64 bit
3GB corsair ram (3 sticks) DRR 1333, 1.5A 9-9-9-24
CPU Intel 8400 3GB
new build with old parts
New 700W Power supply
AVG virus scan, nothing there
What I have done"
MS hotfix install for win 7
Defragged
memtest 4 passes on all 3 sticks one at a time, all passed with no errors
Use 2 sticks at a time and left one out but froze all three test
Checked settings in Bios for ram, all is well and was 1.5V now 1.525V but no luck
Cleaned out dust
Checked all connections twice
Skyping with brother I get freezes all the time
One time Blue Screen of Death, all others no BSOD
No message when it frooze
shut down a few un-necessary services in MSCONFIG, still no dice
pretty much at my wits end at this, can anyone give me an idea where to go next?
thinking of buying new RAM at this point
