Random restart for win 2000

Hi,

I have Dell laptop (win 2000 pro) . when i work in the normal mode the machine restart while blue screen show . now, I can work only in the safe mode . i can't accses in the BIOS because there is a password . i can't accses to msconfig ( by using run ).
this problem appear when i ran registry software cleaning . i didn't change/replace any of the machine hardware.

Try running the Recovery CD's (if you have any), sounds like a registy issue.

Might want to include model number. Did you leave your original Service Tag?

I did but not work . and transferd sp1 (which was in the original CD ) to sp4 but also not work . (normal mode).

model number is Inspirion 2500 . I didn't leave the original service tag which is 9HYX70J.
