random restart

  1. hi there,

    anyone might help me? i experiencing also the same problem. my question is how to do the memory test? what is the basic steps to do that? how about the minidump? I read a lot must check the minidump. how im going to check that?what program im going to use to run it

    most of the time my PC restart when im just surfing the net or just simply started windows. then after restart there will be error report something like Bccode.

    i tried the memtest version 1.7 and download the memtest86+-1.65iso.zip then when i run it theres an error on test 1, 3, 4 & 5 then i tried to restart the testing then the errors came out during test 7. does it mean that my RAM faulty? pls help to clarify. thanks

    If Mestest failed, then the RAM must be faulty. How many memory sticks do you have? Try reseating them, and if possible, test them on another PC. :)

    i try to reseat the mem sticks but stil encounter the same error

    finally i resolved my random restart problem ( crossed finger!) with updated version of my display driver and NEW ram now im on running for almost 1 1/2days without any problem. thanks for all the support here
