I started having some trouble today, I'm running Windows XP, and for some reason my computer will randomly restart. Upon restarting, I get the "Windows has recovered from a serious system error". The description of the reason for the error is that an "unknown driver" was stopped, or something of that nature. Having no idea what driver that could be, I'm not quite sure what to do. I haven't installed any new hardware or software recently, so honestly I'm stumped. Does anyone know what I could do?

System Specs:
Pentium 4 3.2Ghz
ASRock PV488 mobo
Seagate 300GB IDE HDD (Master)
Seagate 160GB IDE HDD (Slave)
Maxtor 200GB SATA HDD (Slave)
Patriot RAM 2.5GB
Aspire 520 watt PSU
nVidia GeForce 7800 GS

It is often difficult to find the causes of random crashes, and usually all you can do is troubleshoot one thing at a time.

Click on the link in my signature for random crashes. One of the steps in that link is more than likely your problem.

Good luck!
