All the dumps crash at alcan5wn.sys, which is the USB modem driver. From other forums it seems that updating the driver solves the problem.

    hi
    thanks

i went to check out the alcatel website and found that my modem is discontinued.
i made a check with my isp that provided me with the modem and the driver is the "most up-to-date"

i'm using the Alcatel Speedtouch USB
    The driver version is 140.3.0.1800

is there another ways i can do to rectify this problem?

What's the model number? You can also have a look on this SITE.

    http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews561.html
The name is just Alcatel Speedtouch USB

can't find it at the alcatel website already.
and it seems like there's a driver version 2.01
which i can't seem to find anywhere on the net.
