Have you tried a different player? i would try winamp, or media jukebox, or something else, see if they play slow in other players, try to play a cd, see if it plays at normal speed. I have had a few mp3 files that play fine on my computer, but when i put them on my Iriver PMP 40 some of them play at slow speed, which is highly annoying but fortunatly in my case, its only like 1 in 100 songs, and i dont know enough about computer audio to know why.
