Recycle Bin Icon Help

My parents bought a new Sony Vaio, and the recycle bin icon is a moon. How do you change it back to a trash can? I've tried going into properties when I right click it, but it only gives me the capacity options.

Right click the desktop and select properties, then the desktop tab. Click the customize desktop button and click the restore default button. Click ok/apply/ok.
