  1. I recently bought an I mac from a random fellow on runs well and has all the programs you can use. but I cannot use i tunes and I cannot install anything new because every time I do it tells me I need admin permission. Obviously I do not have that is there away around that. maybe reformatting or buying a new hard drive is that possible I am new to using macs.

Not a big knowledge on macs but to get rid of the password you need to boot from a mac disk of the same build, part of the process asks if you want to change the admin password.

Do a google on the subject there are lots of pages on it.
