Regedit for Windows XP

Hey Guys,

I can't open Regedit. When ever I try and run Regedit I get a blank Screen. All my desktop items disappear and then It goes back to the desktop. I'm not sure how long this has been happening because I haven't tried to use the Editor for awhile now.

Can anyone give me a hand please?

I would love to try everything everyone says, But I can't make it through an online scan with out firefox Crashing.

I did the Cycle. It picked up a few things but I'm still having the same problem. I can't regedit or cmd

Wow lots of found issues in Malwarebytes

Sadly Malwarebytes will need to be run again, and then have the uncovered Malwares removed again
The issue is, you are uncovering the hidden Malwares, by running Malwarebytes until clean (usually taking 3 scans)

Once Malwarebytes reports no more found Malwares, do the following:

Download Combofix
Lots of info on its use h e r e
Direct download h e r e

Locate the downloaded Combofix. Double click on it to run, answering any prompts along the way
Note: during Combofix scan (lasting up to 10mins) your Desktop and clock may reset (all normal)
ComboFix will also restart your computer (eventually) and then (eventually) create a log

Save this log file to be attached to a new reply

Restart

Then do another scan with HJT (scan and log file) and attach this to a new reply as well

Thanks things seems to be good. If You want me to post the logs I'll post them but things seem to be working great
