If you are looking for official support from Microsoft as regards the following products:

MS DOS, Windows 3.xx, Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.5x

Then I would get it before December 31st of this year, if I was you, because after that you won't be getting any. Yes, the above are now officially dead products. Or at least they will be when 2003 dawns.

The deadline for Windows NT 4.0 is still the end of 2004, and even although I couldn't find any official confirmation, I would imagine that Windows 98 will have the same deadline.

I wonder when XP's end of life will be. 5-10 years? It was 7 for '95.

According to what I've read, those are already in the "non supported" phase. The fully supported period and "extended" period is already gone, from what I can tell, there is not much difference between non supported and End of life phases. 98 enters the "non supported" phase in June of next year.

End of Life for XP seems to be December 31, 2009 for Pro and December 31, 2007 for Home.

Good riddens in my opinon. I think Microsoft has done about all they can to update the 9x and NT 3x series. :x
