Hi,
I just bought a new Dell laptop (my first laptop), and one thing that irritates me is that after the normal Dell bootscreen with the chip logo, etc., I get a 2nd advertisement screen with a blue bar at the top that ways "www.dell.com" before the OS load.
Look, the laptop cover says Dell on it, the initial boot-up screen says it too, and for $#@$# sake - I bought the computer FROM DELL. So why are they shoving their brand down my throat????
Anyway, is there any (safe for computer users with above average but not programmer-level skills) way to remove that useless website ad page from the boot process?
Thanks!
