Remove update throttling svchost win update

  1. There was an update for vista (the one I want) (and for xp) that reduced priority given to svchost when running windows update. I want to remove this one released in 2013 or 2014 because windows update is unusable and never completes. Does anyone have the kb number? Microsoft's websites have all "security" updates disguised and gives no information on what they do. (Did you know xp windows update servers are down? I know support ended but updates should be available for 20 years.) I have scanned and thoroughly torn apart this "production" computer. I just need an update number, that all. I'm not going to uninstall all 2104-2015 updates, as not any can be installed any more. Knowing how everything is not working lately in the world, I don't trust uninstalling the updates. Thanks.
