Inactive Removed a trojan and now I can not connect to IE

I had the Trojan.Win32.FraudPack.bjxo on my system. Nothing was working to find this until I used Kaspersky anti virus. This found it but now I can not connect IE. I am connected to the internet and I can ping yahoo but can't get there. Any suggestions? I also checked my winsock for any corrupted one and they seemed fine.

Hi Crunchie,

After a day of trying to figure out why IE wouldn't run I got it to work by running sfc /scannow in command prompt.

No worries, but it would still be advisable to run those scans.
