Hello and thank you in advance for your help. Today while browsing a website that I go to pretty regularly, I was prompted to update Adobe Flash Player. I hit 'No' as I didn't feel like it at that moment. But as soon as the dialog box closed, another one popped up, asking me the same thing. After several times, I clicked yes, as I couldn't believe how obtrusive and annoying it was being. As soon as I installed it, I got a weird 'Your Computer is Infected with Malware' notification in my lower right hand. Our of curiosity, I ignorantly clicked it to see if I could get more info. Before I knew it, I had a couple windows open up for the bogus 'Live Security Platinum' program, and noticed it had an icon installed on my desktop and Control Panel. Panicking, I uninstalled the program from the Control Panel, and ended a few suspicious processes from my Task Manager. I then did some research and tried to get my system cleared of this annoyance. After following a guide, I had downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Ad-Aware, HitmanPro, and Dr Web's CureIt. Though I don't have any logs from it, both MBAB and HitmanPro found and cleared out several trojans. Everything seems to be okay, but there are still some troubling processes in my Task Manager. First of all, as I am typing this, there are (2) instances of iexplore.exe running, and I never use IE. I run Mozilla Firefox. There are also several rundll32.exe files in there that I don't remember seeing. As soon as I force close the iexplore.exe processes, new ones pop right up. I have disabled Ad-Aware in favor of this forum's suggested 'Microsoft Security Essentials,' but a Quick Scan from that program also yields no new information. Please help, I am savvy enough to be able to post logs and follow your guidance. I can't lose this computer to malware! I am on Windows 7, 64bit from a 2010 Dell Studio XPS laptop. Thank you so much!!
