Please Disable System Restore (howto)

Then download Move On Boot from h e r e

Once installed click on Start--> All Programs -->GiPo@Utilities-->MoveOnBoot
Select (Browse to) your file that you want to remove

Restart
Confirm the file has in fact been deleted

If it has gone, please re-enable System Restore

the file

the file doesnt have a name,it was downloaded by my daughter from limewire, its a music video,it wont open and wont delete.

it tells me its a video clip with 0 bytes, but when you right click it it doesnt offer you a delete option.i hope its not a virus.

If you're using Limewire, the file is probably on someone elses computer, and Limewire has not downloaded it yet.
(ie the file is not on your computer in the first place)

I think there's somewhere in Limewire's settings to remove not completed (or completed) downloads.

I'm not sure because I don't use Limewire.

I'm sure uninstalling Limewire would remove it though.
You could do that then restart, then run CCleaner through your computer,
then re-install Limewire (if you still want it)

video clip is a name.

video clip is what we asked.Does it have a . after clip ?
Can't you drag it into the Recycle Bin ?
What type of icon is it ? Post an attachment,Send me a copy.

the file is OPENed for download and any file that is open can not be renamed, moved, or deleted.

stop your limeware client and disconnect from the internet. It will then delete
