Although Republic Wireless has been offering Moto X for quite some time now, your only choices were black or white units with 16GB of internal storage. But starting at 9 a.m. PT today, you can order either the base 16GB model or 32 GB variant in any color configuration you come up with through Moto Maker.

What's more, the company is also offering a free upgrade to a wood or Bamboo backing (worth $25) for the first 2,000 customers who visit www.Motorola.com/WoodYouBelieveIt (starting at 8 a.m. PT today).

With the announcement, the carrier joins the likes of Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, who are already offering the Moto X smartphone via Moto Maker. As far as prices are concerned, if you opt for the new Moto Maker option, the 16GB version will cost $350, while the 32GB version will cost $400. The carrier currently sells black or white 16GB Moto X phones for $299.

Republic's service plans, however, will remain the same; $5 per month for unlimited talk, text and data on WiFi, and top out at $40 for unlimited 4G data.
