Thought I had screwed my new flat panal monitor when I set the res too high. All I got was an out of range RGB message on the monitor. Could not get back in to change the res. Searched your site and found the solution. In safe mode select the vga option and it lets you back in at a lower res. Was able to reset and problem solved.
