Restoration problems

First of all, let me just say that I am not very computer literate. I am having a time trying to restore my emachines t3624. I have installed all six of my restore cd's that came with my computer. But it goes through a cycle of choose the mode to start with. My options are: Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last known Good Configuration, or Start Windows Normally. But no matter which one I choose, it goes right back through the cycle. Please help.

I'm afraid you have a hardware failure. May I ask why you are trying to restore the system? What was the original problem?

I thought so

I think I had a virus. I kept getting the same popups and my system kept freezing up. So I used my restore cd's and erased my entire system. This is what I was advised to do by a coworker. I might should have got a second opinion.
