Restore files from RAW filesystem

By ferrari24

  1. I had a problem with the ntfs.sys file becoming corrupted on an hdd so I am doing this tutorial to get my files back, but I tried installing Windows 98 because I hadn't yet found my Windows 2k instal disk and I accidentally had this hdd connected. It set the hdd I want to recover files from to a RAW Filesystem but it didn't have time to start formating it.

How do I recover files from this filesystem that was NTFS (I am using Windows 2000, following that tutorial without knowing I had set the hdd to RAW)?

P.S. I can't connect it to another computer because it prevents Windows from loading, so I'm stuck with Windows 2k.
