Hi;
I need to type some Hebrew using either MS Word 2003 or Word 2000.
For Word 2000, I have the MS Office Proofing Tools CD, but I do not have this for 2003.
I do not believe that Word 2000 supports a right-to-left language, however, Word 2003 does.

When I set up Word 2003 with a Hebrew font (which I copied from the Office 2000 Proofing Tools CD), and enable right-to-left language in Office Language Settings, I can have the paragraph start at the right margin, however, when I start typing (Hebrew characters), the new character is always inserted to the RIGHT of the last one, causing the entire line to shift to the left.
This is not true right-to-left, as you well know. I don't really know what the purpose of this feature is, since it is not correct for a right-to-left language.
What I really need is to have the insertion point (the cursor) always appear to the left of the last character I have typed.

Is there a software "wedge" that can be installed to work with MS Office 2000 or 2003?

Thanks
