Does rooting my android phone voids its warranty?

In most cases it can void your warranty. Without knowing what phone and what service provider, it is hard tell. Some service provider companies don't mind while others do. Most android phones you can Un-Root, but it may still leave trace information located in its memory if you try returning the phone to get it repaired or to exchange for a different model.
