i was reading thru a thread here today about a router helping with the security of your computer, so we've been trying to install a linksus router we have. during the setup process, we get stuck as its trying to access the internet. Is my zonelab firewall preventiing it from accessing the internet??

Two firewalls are not always better than one. Turn off the Zonelabs and rely on the firewall in the router.
If you use the linksys install CD you should not encounter any problems.

What exactally do you mean you get stuck? and what do you do after that?

For now shutdown zone alarm, and try it again. You might have to remove zone alarm to install your software?
