Don’t look now but Angry Birds creator Rovio is once again teasing a new mobile title based on everyone’s favorite feathered friends. The new game is set to launch on Monday and in true Rovio style, all we have to go on at this time is a single image.

Based on the image below, we can surmise with a pretty high degree of accuracy that this will be another Angry Birds / Star wars mashup. If you’re a Star Wars fan, odds are that you will recognize the scene as a parody of the movie poster for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

In it, we see a bird dressed as a young Anakin Skywalker with the shadow in the background forming the likeness of a piggy Darth Vader. Pretty clever, Rovio. As for the game itself, Rovio promises the biggest character line-up ever with new powers and naturally, a few surprises.

If you recall, this isn’t the first Star Wars-themed game we have the Angry Birds star in. Late last year, the studio released the aptly titled Angry Birds: Star Wars which used familiar gameplay mixed with maps and powers based on the popular Star Wars franchise.

Last month, Rovio teased an all-new game called Angry Birds Go. The title appears to be either a racing game or perhaps a Temple Run-style game. No word yet on when this game is expected to drop but in the meantime, gamers will have the next Angry Birds / Star Wars title to keep them busy.

It was fun, long ago. But as long as they've sold out to the data collectors, it'll never be on my phone's again.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, there was a people without Angry Birds on their mobile devices. They were happy people.
