Attempted to download some music production software from a shady site, and was immediately inundated with pop-ups, which were just the first wave. I was confounded, but what's worse, is now when I attempt to download song stems from popular Indabamusic.com (a remixing competition site I frequent) it appears my downloader bar (run/save/save as/open) is being redirected to s3.Amazonaws.com. I haven't allowed a download to begin, as a google search revealed that it is indeed a browser hijacker, but try as I might, I can't get rid of it and I'm way out of my depth.
I started a thread on bleeping computer, where I was instructed to run CCleaner, Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, Junk Removal Tool, FRST64, and finally eset online scanner to no avail. Then I was instructed to star a new thread, and a week later I've received no response. I'm in a hurry, and can complete any and all tasks as fast as the scanners can scan, and am desperate for reliable support. The pop ups are gone, but the downloader bar redirection to s3.Amaznaws persists, prohibiting me from entering the competitions I know, love, and occasionally pay bills with. HELP ME TECH SPOT, YOUR'E MY ONLY HOPE!!
You guys seem to be on point with a pretty good track record, so I pray you can help me get back in the remixing saddle.
