Samsung’s Milk streaming app is now available for videos. The aptly-named Milk Video app is described as a video discovery service that makes it easier to find and share the most popular clips with friends and family.

The next big thing in video, as Samsung is dubbing it, is an aggregator that brings together content from the likes of Condé Nast, Funny Or Die, Red Bull, Vevo and VICE, among others according to a press release on the matter.

Personalization appears to be a key feature of Milk Video as the app will take note of what consumers watch, who they choose to follow, who they like or report as well as which videos are dismissed. Using this data, Milk Video aims to deliver curated content that is relevant for each user.

As one might expect, there’s also the usual social network tie-ins so people can share what they’re watching via Twitter and Facebook. What’s more, users can follow their favorite brands, users and groups which makes it easier to see their new content.

Samsung Milk Video is available today exclusively for Galaxy device owners in the US. Specifically, it’s limited to the Galaxy S3 and newer, the Note 3 and higher, the Galaxy S III mini and higher and the Galaxy Mega.

The good news, however, is that the app is completely free of charge and can be downloaded from the Play Store as of writing. With any luck, it'll expand to other Samsung devices in the near future.
