  1. agsharma Newcomer, in training

    re-installed XP and 2000 on my PC and ever since have not been able to change the resolution (stuck at 640*480). Have tried the everything I know (change the settings, change the frequency on the monitor etc. ) and nothing seems to work. I also have linux installed and had no problems so I assume it's a OS problem and not a monitor problem. Any idea about what to do next? I have called and emailed SAMTRON but they were no help.

    That's generally a driver issue based on your description of the problem. Have you double-check your vid driver to make sure it's the proper one and not just the standard VGA driver?
