Sandisk Mac and PC issues

My Sandisk 8fb cruser wks well on my PC. However, it seems to wk on my Mac ONLY if I remove the password protection. Is this true? If so, how can I get around this? I want to keep my flask disk pw protected AND use in on my MacBook

If you're using the U3 software to password your drive then you can't use it with your Mac. U3 is only supported under Windows operating systems.
