Hey everyone! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

So I have a Toshiba 40gig MP3 Player Gigabeat and when I plug it into the USB port, obviously it recognizes it as an external hard drive, but the files (audio) that I've transfered onto it are in an SAT format.

Now, is there any way I could possibly convert these into MP3s again?

Mind you, I can drag them onto my desktop and such.

Thanks!

sh!n i'm having the same exact problem and I don't have a clue what to do about it.So if you get any info please let me know.thanks

if you upload them using windows media player instead of gigabeat room they won't have the SAT attached. you have to choose windows media player to upload from the gigabeat screen when you upload. i have files on my computer that are SAT and my gigabeat is broken, so i can't upload them with WMP, if you get it to work for you will you let me send you my files and upload them using WMP so they won't have SAT attached. my name is patrick grogan my e-mail is patrickggrogan@mtc.mailcruiser.com
thanks for any help!
