Hard drives are not my specialization but I just got a new mobo the
ASUS P5LD2 and it supports SATA Had drives and has a RAID controller. So I was planing to get to Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 80GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drives and putting them on RAID0. Now my question is if SATA 150 is completle different and Cant be used and Vica Versa with SATA 3.0gb/s ???

You can mix and match SATA150 and SATA300 no problem. In theory anyway - it is written so in the standard.

Like Nodsu said it should work no problem. You will just be running the drives at half the speed that they are capable of. Check with Asus on some of these boards I think they have a Bios update that you can upgrade your board to SATA 3.0.
