SATA HD Explode!?!?

Ok so this isnt a crisis or a emergency, but i was screwing around with my PC today, and a sweet idea came into my head. My Maxtor SATA Hard Drive has two power conectors, one for standard molex, and antoher for SATA power. If i were to plug both power connectors in...would i get an good show? Thanks

Well...

I had some free time at my friends house and we did "blow up" a regular IDE HD. We filed the Molex down, so that it would fix in backwards. It didnt really blow up but it did spark and reeked of burning circuts.

cool, but bad news, SATA is different than EIDE, but you can try that with SATA Adapter. Good luck for firing a good SATA hard disk.
