  1. Hi
I have just bought a new pc, as my old one COMPLETLEY died and i have managed to save the old hard drive.

is it possible to install the new hard drive on my new system with out having to format it using disk management so i can use all the data that is on old drive.

I have no issue installing drive etc, just wanting to know how i can save the data on old drive.

    Thanks in advance for responses.

Just connect the drive (mind you, the old hard drive should become after the one currently installed or Windows will be very upset). All your data will be there.

Make sure the jumper is set to slave though else some serious problems could occur.
