    Hi

Sure this is something *very* simple, but I'm using Microsoft Internet explorer to surf and previously when I wanted to save an image to my hard drive from a website it was in JPEG format. Now I'm only given the option (for all images) of saving bitmap files, which are much larger and seem of lower quality. I'm assuming that I have accidentally changed my viewing settings, but don't know how, or how to put them back again.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Many thanks.

You need to clean up your Temporary Internet Files, IE is choking on them!
Click Tools/Internet Options and select Delete Files

...Or you could just hit "Refresh" a few times on the page with the picture, then save it the usual way. I think it's some kind of a bug in IE.

Yeah, that seems to have cleared it up! Thanks a lot. 'preciate it.
