saving to disk before reformat

Hi Howard,

You guys were such a tremendous help to me when I did my first reformat on my games computer. Its running like a charm.

I am now having problems with my other desktop that I use for everything else. Its been a year or so since reformatting and I think its time.

I've been searching around techspot to see if there are any easy instructions for me to save my address book for OE and my bookmarks for Firefox onto a disk and I'm not finding any. Can you point me in the right direction or tell me how to do this please? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I have moved you post to it`s own thread.

In Firefox you can export your bookmarks by doing the following.

Click Bookmarks/Organise bookmarks/File/Export and save them to wherever you want. Burn them to cd.

To import Firefox bookmarks, do the following.

Click Bookmarks/Organise bookmarks/File/import/From file/Next/Browse to the cd where you saved your bookmarks, find the bookmarks file and click open.

To export your OE address book see HERE.
