Sbc dsl connection?

im using windows 2000, a d-link di-604 router, alcatel 1000 adsl modem. the problem is my dsl keeps going down at leas 4-5 times a day for one to two minutes each time. sbc has checked the line according to them alls good. what else could be causing my dsl to go down so much? please anybody i need so input.my business suffers each time it go's down....
 
You should make sure whether it is the DSL going down or the LAN.

The next time it happens, check if you can access your router. And check in the router status page what the router thinks about the DSL.
 
your line is brought in by another co. IE att
they may be shutting your service down at the switch
if you subscribe to a digital phone service it may not be compatable with the modem.
check your settings in modem software for keep alive this will ping the line to keep it connected (or does it stop responding while you are transmitting receiving data) this is a diff issue. if you have phones on same line could be a bad filter
