Scaleo X seeminly random BSODs, dumps attached

My friend has a relatively new (6 months or so) Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo X.

Recently it has started BSODing at random occations.

Memtest shows no errors, BIOS is updated, drivers updated, the support even replaced the graphics card but it still crashes.

I've tried to analyze the minidumps but I don't really understand them all. Often it is the wdmaud.sys involved, but I'm not sure if it is a coinsidence or not.

I'd really appreciate if someone could take a look on the attached minidump and give their opinion!

Cheers,
Magnus

Hi

Five minidumps are crashed because the storage are corrupted by x'20202020' (ie spaces). It memory corruption maybe caused by hardware or software error.

Mini111806-02.dmp BugCheck 1000000A, {20202024, 1c, 0, 80534e86}
Mini111806-02.dmp Probably caused by : sptd.sys ( sptd+148a8 ) <-- daemon tools

Mini110306-01.dmp BugCheck 10000050, {ff7bd803, 0, 805b7ec5, 0}
Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiCheckForConflictingNode+d )

Mini111806-01.dmp BugCheck 1000008E, {c0000005, 80523b30, b9d1bc3c, 0}
Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiLocateAddressInTree+4 )

Suggestion
1. Probably the culprit is faulty ram. Run memtest to stress the ram.
2. Your version of daemon tools is unstable. De-install daemon tools
3. De-install Norman Virus Control
