screen says NO SIGNAL!!!

my screen says " no signal " during far cry or doom 3. Completed 3/4 of far cry so seems to be a new problem. NE suggestions??

Check the monitor connection to your video card would be the first thing to do.

Did you, or can you change the monitor refresh rate? That's most likely the issue if it's only occuring in certain games, not on the desktop.

i downloaded a game called sonic heroes for my bro and when i tried to run it FULLSCREEN i got no signal or it was just all black or something like that so what i tried to do is go to options under right click of the exe file that is the starting file of the game of maybe the autorun file of the game and look for a place where you choose betw. a full screen and a smaller screen. the game will be in a smaller window but if it will work it might be worth it. aiite?
