I just performed a clean install of Windows XP Pro on my laptop and installed all of the lastest drivers for everything as per Averatec's website. I installed Firefox 1.0.6 and since then scrolling results in 99% CPU usage for firefox.exe and it takes up to five seconds for it to actually start scrolling and when it does, it stutters severely. Also, scrolling through the Task Manager also uses 99% CPU. I have since uninstalled Firefox but the same thing happens in IE. I have also tried scrolling with and without the Averatec Touchpad drivers installed but still the same effect. This is getting annoying so any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

I feel so stupid, I forgot to install the graphics driver (its one of those generic shared RAM things) and after installing it, everything works fine!
