Seanix Columbia 3 mobo random restarts

ok, so I have this old school COlumbia 3 mobo. half the time I can get it to post, the other half it randomly restarts in different random places in the post. the last time it restarted, I was in the cmos changing settings.
this was a nib motherboard. anyone have any ideas what it might be? I am A+/Net+/Mcse so I know it was through no fault of mine that its doing it.(that I know of.)

any help would be great.

oh yeah, I guess I should add that I have tested all aspects of the hardware (ram cpu hd ps etc etc and all of it checks out.....)

I should have been a painter for a living.
