Search Options In XP

    A little thing that I liked about windows 98 was that you could hit F3 and the search dialog box would pop up and you could quickly type in the name of the file you were after and it would search your computer,,
    In XP when you hit F3 up pops the search window but you have a load of options down the left hand side!!
    Is there any way of getting rid of these "helpfull" options and going straight to a search box??

    Not trying to be offensive dude, but maybe you could have looked a little harder.... ;)

    select change preferences-----> change files and folders search behaviour --------> select advanced, hit OK.

    I think this is what you meant.
