Second hard drive help

    i have a dell xps t 450 with a maxtor 12gb hd and win98se.
    installed 80gb wd hard drive on the same cable.
    the chipset reads new hd but windows does not show a drive letter.
    how can i make this work??

    Requires partitioning first (and formatting)

    In Control Panel - Administrative Tools
    Go to Computer Management - Disk Management

    Don't format the wrong drive !
