Securing my wireless internet

  1. Ok I installed my wireless internet broadband using a Belkin modem/router on a new vista machine but I didn't set up any security to prevent others logging into my wireless signals.
    Where do i go to provide some security to lock out any intruders from my wireless transmissions? If you know the answers please keep it simple.

    First;
    change the SSID from the default
    change the channel to one end or the other, ie not #6
    set encryption to WPA
    add a pass phrase
    (write down the resultant key)
    change the login password
    save settings and restart the router

    Second, you can go to MAC address filtering, but get the above running and then
    post back to continue
