Security popups and slow system - Hijackthis post

Hi there,

I am running Windows Vista and have had issues with a slow system and infuriating security popups for several weeks. I've self diagnosed it as Vundo but I can't get anywhere with it - I may be off the mark with my diagnosis!

I've downloaded Hijackthis and attached the log file - I would be extremely grateful if anyone could give me some guidance from there.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with a variety of malware including a worm.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly. Please note: some of the tools/programmes may not work with Vista.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
