Self Boot Up Problem ---->

  1. Ive got a prob with my comp self booting, i.e. coming on by itself after its been shut down. this doesnt happen all the time, but at least a few nights a week and happens at different times. For instance last night it came on by itself nearly 10 minutes after i shut it down. the night before it did it after just 2 minutes of being shut down. i was in bed nearly asleep and it all of a sudden booted up. I guess ive had this problem for about 6 months, but now that my comp has been moved to my room its really annoying. Ive checked connections etc. Im thinking my power supply to be suspect. Any ideas?

    thanks

    Take a look at your power options in bios. Disable auto power on etc.

    Have you looked at Wake on LAN?

    Yes disable it.

    If you check in your mobo manual it may well tell you what all the power options do.

    Regards Howard :)
