Send to

Hi there,
I am new to these forums so if what I say doesn't make sense then forgive me.
I have a minor problem in that when I right click a document or photo the option to send to e mail recipient has disappeared from the menu. Is there anyone out there who could tell me how to get this option back please?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE.

Open C:\Documents and Settings\Your username\Sendto. Click File/New Text Document. press the delete key and type Mail Recipient.mapimail into the new text documents title and press the enter key. You should now have the Send to Mail recipient in your right click menu. Rehide your protected OS files.

?Explain this better

Where ar you doing this.Here fo example.File,send - link or Page.
Do you expect your email addresses to be there or when useing right click.
It only opens Outlook Express.For me anyway.

zipperman: I have no idea what you`re talking about. However, it seems obvious from Gampsy`s post, that he uses the right click Send to email recipient feature. It makes no difference which email programme he uses, whether it`s Outlook or anything else. He just wanted the option back again. As far as I`m aware, if he does what I suggested, it will work.

Anything else is surplus to requirements.

But i just wanted to point out how to send this page howard.
Seems you didn't know and get my point.
You answered his off line question.Thanks i wanted to know how to rdit send to.
I described the online method.
