Serial ATA Adapter Review at ExtremeMHZ.com

ExtremeMHZ.com have an article which offers a quick read on Serial ATA adapters, which allow owners of a Serial ATA capable motherboard to plug an ordinal IDE HDD into this interface. Was there a performance increase? You will have to read the article to find out, but in any case anyone interested in this new technology should give the article a quick once over.

Do any serial drives exist right now? I've yet to see them in stores anywhere.

I think I would skip the first generation of SATA drives until the performance gets a bit above 150. Handy that you can use an adapter to connect up your existing ATA drives, doesn't seem to make much of a performance difference though.
