Server 2003 Stop Error

The k-8 school I volunteer at is having a problem with their Terminal Server. It works great untill its time to log off. When more than two users log off at the same time the server auto-reboots. not very desirable...

The system stop error in the log is:

e 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 7c82ed54, parameter3 f25fed64, parameter4 00000000.

I can attach what ever other info you need to help us with this.(logs memory dumps etc) Ive set up a bunch of these in the past and never experienced this sort of problems.

I am guessing it is related to drivers unloading? Maybe? But you guys are the experts.

What would cause them to be unreadable..

Anyways it went to the blue screen of death last night.

Will be trying to get it workable again this week.

Norton AV

Hi,

Your version of Norton AV is unstable. Upgrade Norton AV will resolve the blue problem.

Would you suggest a certain version? 7, 8, 9, 10?

Or WHen you say upgrade to the latest patch.. would you be thinking about through Live update or uninstall and re-install the newer patched version?

Hi,

Liveupdate only updates virus information and not SAV software. Visit SAV website and download the latest patches. SAV has a lot of software problem which causes blue screen proble,. AVG is more stable compare with SAV.
