I use firefox and a lot of the times I get this message going to websites:

Server Certificate Expired

"recon.queenb2b.com" is a site that uses a security certificate to encrypt data during transmission, but its cerficate expired on 8/23/2005 7:59pm.

You should check to make sure that your computer's time (currently set to date/time here) is correct.

Would you like to continue anyway?

View Certificate (button)

OK CANCEL Help (buttons)

does anyone know how to put a stop to this??

Meaning that's your own website?
Renew the cert.
Also check the settings in IE under Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/Certificates

I realize this is a very old post, but I had the same problem, also. I checked the validation tab under tools but that was already set to "Do Not Check." What DID WORK: I set my time and date to the current date. It was set to the year 2013, so all the certificates have expired by then and that is why I kept getting the Server Certificate messages.
